GOLDEN CAMERA AWARDS 2016
It was a great evening on Saturday 9th July 2016 at Iskcon
auditorium, Juhu, Mumbai, where cine artist and technicians from not only
different states of India but also from International films gathered together
to celebrate the 8th Golden Camera Awards 2016, NIFF. Many prominent
guests from Bollywood and political level were present on this occasion, Mayor
of Mumbai, Anup Jalota, Dilip Sen, Sunil Pal, Arun Nalawade, Alka Kubal, Rohini
Hattangadi, Makrand Anaspure & Govind Namdeo.
The man behind this organisation is Mukesh Kanneri an engineer from
Nasik, who was also attracted toward films and film making, so he decided to
bring pupil from various field and department from films together with this
move. Being from Nasik he named it on name of great Dadasaheb Phalke. When
asked that there is already national award on his name, Mukesh replied that
there only one person gets award but we are giving it to best ones from all
departments of film, even we have friends from International film industry with
us, and now we are in 8th year of celebrating NIFF 2016.
